Recalling a Backorder

You can recall backorders by debtor or by backorder number. You can then amend the backorder and re-hold it, delete it, print or post it as required.

  1. Select SALES | BACKORDER CREATION.

Micronet displays the Backorder Creation screen.

  1. Select either:

Micronet displays a selection screen with a list of backorders.

  1. If required, you can filter the list of backorders by Debtor, Order No or Backorder No.

Micronet displays all the backorders matching your criteria at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Double-click on the backorder you want to load, or select a backorder and press the Enter key.

Micronet displays the Backorder Creation Header screen with the details of the backorder.

  1. If you want to edit any of the details on the Backorder Creation Header screen, see "Maintaining the Backorder Creation Header".
  1. If you want to edit the item details for the backorder, edit other backorder details, or finalise the backorder, select PROCEED or press F2.

If the debtor is set not to allow backorders, Micronet displays the following prompt.

 

Technical Tip

Whether or not a debtor allows backorders is set in the Allow B/O field on the Debtor master file – see "File - Debtor - Debtor".

  1. If you want to allow the backorder for the debtor, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

If you selected Yes, Micronet redisplays the Backorder Creation screen.
